3 DIY Fall Signs

3 DIY Fall Signs

Fall is coming and I can't wait to decorate my home. I'm so excited for fall and the fall decorations. An easy way to add fall touches to your home is fall signs.

During the fall, we have the season, Halloween and Thanksgiving. I have created a sign for each one and here is how I did it. These signs took less than 20 minutes to make (after I waited for the paint to dry).

Below are some affiliate links and I may make a commission for purchases made through the following links.

Happy Fall Y'All
For the Happy Fall Y'All sign I used this SVG-http://kimberdawnco.com/hand-lettered-its-fall-yall-free-svg-cut-file/. I love the Kimber Dawn + Co SVG, they are all so cute. Then in Cricut Design Space I created the sunflowers to go above and below the saying. For this sign I used a sign from my craft stash. I found this sign marked down at the Target Dollar Spot. It didn't match my Thanksgiving decorations, but I knew I could reuse it to make another sign.

Here are the steps to create the sign:
1- Sand the sign to remove the other design on it
2- Paint the sign white (I let it dry overnight before applying the vinyl)
3- In Design Space I uploaded the SVG, sized the SVG, attached the text, then cut it on black permanent vinyl.
4- Transfer the Happy Fall Y'All to the sign using transfer tape
5- In Design Space I created the sunflowers and cut them in black and golden yellow vinyl
6- Transfer the sunflowers to the sign above and below the saying

Happy Halloween and Thanksgiving Sign
These signs are made on reclaimed wood and are 3 inches high by 8 inches long. Each of the signs were cut, sanded, then painted. The halloween sign was pained with Apple Barrel Harvest Orange and the thanksgiving sign was painted with white.

I used this Halloween SVG-https://lovesvg.com/2016/09/happy-halloween/.

This is the link for the Thanksgiving SVG-http://www.thelatestfind.com/2016/11/free-thanksgiving-svg-set.html?

In Cricut Design Space I sized each of the SVG's and then cut them on permanent black vinyl. Then I used transfer tape to put the images on the wooden signs.

Now you have 3 adorable signs for the season, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Happy Fall Decorating and making your home fall ready.
